Union Public Service Commission has published the notification for Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination, 2019. The Candidates who are applying for IFS Examination should note that they are required to appear in the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination and qualify the same for going to the 2nd Stage of IFS (Mains) Examination (Written and Interview).

Last Date of Fee Payment (Pay-in-sleep) – 17 March 2019
Preliminary Exam Date – 02 June 2019
Admit Card Available Date – Month of May, 2019
Mains Exam Date – Month of December, 2019
Application Fee for IFS Examination
- For Gen/OBC Candidate: Rs. 100/-
- For SC/ST/Female/PwBD Candidate – No Fee
- Pay the examination fee online through Internet Banking, Debit / Credit Card OR through E-Challan.
Age Limit
Age limit should be between 21 to 32 years. Age Relaxation as per this recruitment rules.
Qualification
The Candidate Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.
Selection Process
(i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian
Forest Service (Main) Examination; and
(ii) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the
Indian Forest Service.
