- 18 – 25 Years For Direct
- 18- 35 Years for LDCE
- The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST by 5 years and for OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) by 3 years.
Educational Qualification
Required Educational Qualification for ITBP Head Constable Recruitment 2022 –
Head Constable (Direct) –
- 12th Pass or its equivalent from a recognized board and Typing Speed 35 WPM English OR 30 WPM Hindi.
Head Constable (LDCE) –
- Only for ITBPF Serving Personnel.

- Level 4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- (as per 7th CPC) and other allowances as admissible in the Force.

- Selection will be based on PET, Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Test, Skill Test & Medical Examination.
