Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division, Northern Region has published a notification for the recruitment of 676 Trade/ Technician Apprentice vacancies for Technical & Non-Technical Trade Apprentices at its Locations in States & Union Territory of North India (Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh).

Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Northern Region Apprentice Recruitment 2022

Age Limit for IOCL NR Apprentice Recruitment 2022

• 18 – 24 Years as on 31.01.2022.
• Age Relaxation – 5 years for SC/ST i.e. up to a max of 29 yrs., 3 years for OBC i.e. up to a max of 27 yrs., Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST and up to 13 years for OBC(Non-Creamy layer) candidates.

Educational Qualification for IOCL NR Apprentice Vacancy 2022

Trade Apprentice (Fitter) – 

• Class 10th /Matric Passed with ITI Certificate in Fitter trade.

Trade Apprentice (Electrician) – 

• Class 10th /Matric Passed with ITI Certificate in Electrician trade.

Trade Apprentice (Electronic Mechanic) – 

• Class 10th (Matric) Pass and ITI Certificate in Electronic Mechanic trade.

Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic) –

• Class 10th (Matric) Pass and ITI Certificate in Instrument Mechanic trade.

Trade Apprentice (Machinist) – 

• Class 10th (Matric) Pass and ITI Certificate in Machinist trade.

Technician Apprentice (Mechanical) –

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks for General/ OBC & 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD from any recognized Institute/ University.

Technician Apprentice (Electrical) –

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks for General/ OBC & 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD from any recognized Institute/ University.

Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation) –

• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 50% marks for General/ OBC & 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD from any recognized Institute/ University.

Technician Apprentice (Civil) – 

• Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks for General/ OBC & 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD from any recognized Institute/ University.

Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics) –

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks for General/ OBC & 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD from any recognized Institute/ University.

Technician Apprentice (Electronics) –

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks for General/ OBC & 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD from any recognized Institute/ University.

Trade Apprentice (Accountant) –

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks for General/ OBC & 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD from any recognized Institute/ University.

Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher) – 

• Class 12th Passed.

Trade Apprentice-Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders) –

• Class 12th Passed.
• Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for Training of less than One year.

Trade Apprentice-Retail Sales Associate (Fresher) –

• Class 12th Passed.

Trade Apprentice-Retail Sales Associate (Skilled Certificate Holders) – 

• Class 12th (10+2) Passed.
• Skill Certificate of ‘Retail Trainee Associate’ for Training of less than One Year.

Selection Process for IOCL NR Apprentice Recruitment 2022

• The Selection shall be on the basis of performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Written Test and meeting the notified eligibility criteria.
• The Written Test will be conducted with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) consisting of four options with one correct option.
