UPSC IES ISS 2022 Recruitment Notification –
Union Public Services Commission has released the Official Notification for for the recruitment of Indian Economic Service (IES)/Indian Statistical Service (ISS) on its website i.e. upsc.gov.in. Candidate should have Graduate / Post Graduate to apply for this recruitment. All those Candidates, who are interested in UPSC IES ISS Recruitment 2022 AND complete all following eligibility criteria can apply online from 06 April to 26 April 2022.

UPSC IES ISS 2022 Educational Qualification
For Indian Economic Service (IES):
- Passed / Appeared in Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from Any Recognized University.
For Indian Statistical Service (ISS):
- Passed / Appeared in Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from Any Recognized University.

Selection Process for UPSC IES ISS 2022
The selection will be done on the basis of:
- Written Exam – 1000 Marks
- Interview – 200 Marks

The exam will be 6 papers of 1000 marks as follow

- All question must be answered in English
- The question papers in all subjects will be of Conventional (essay) type except in Statistics Paper I and Statistics Paper II which are Objective Type Papers.
- Statistics III and IV will be of Descriptive Type having Short Answer/ Small Problems Questions (50%) and Long Answer and Comprehension problem questions (50%). At least one Short Answer and One Long Answer Question from each section is compulsory.
- In Statistics-IV, there will be SEVEN Sections in the paper. Candidates have to choose any TWO Sections out of them. All Sections will carry equal mark
- Statistics I & II will have 80 questions
